This training is suitable for companies and organisations which require their staff to be trained for fire emergencies. The skills and knowledge developed in this course are suitable for those persons who are nominated to undertake the workplace Fire Safety Officer role and responsibilities.
This course comprises of the nationally accredited units of competency: Identify, prevent and report potential workplace emergency situations, Ensure workplace emergency prevention procedures, systems and processes are implemented, Respond to workplace emergencies, Operate as part of an emergency organisation, Lead an emergency control organisation and Confine small workplace emergencies.
Those persons nominated as Fire Safety Officers in the workplace. In particular this training meets the regulatory requirements for Fire Safety Officers in line with the NSW Health Policy Fire Safety in Health Care Facilities (PD2010_024). The Training can be adapted for nominated workplace Fire Safety Officers in the Hospitality Industry.
