Workers who have not completed emergency first aid response training in an education or care setting, people who have not completed emergency first aid response training in an education or care setting for some time or people seeking the tri-annual re-qualification assessment as required for licensing, set down by industry standards who may be required to provide an emergency first aid response in education and care setting, including community and workplace settings.
The face to face training is 8.0 hours and covers both theory and practical aspects of provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting.
Students are required to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the course commencement.

In order to issue an accredited certificate, CPR must be performed on the floor with no exemptions.
Statement of Attainment:
On successful completion of the training program Students will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID004 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting, including HLTAID003, HLTAID002 and HLTAID001 as these units of competency are holistically incorporated and assessments for HLTAID004 include all assessment components for these units in addition to the specific requirements for HLTAID004.
